Hello and welcome to my intro blog!
My name is Trevor and I’m thrilled to join the PorterShed as our in-house content marketing specialist.
For starters, a little about me: I’m originally from Cork, but I consider myself an adopted Galwegian, having spent most of my life here. My background to date has mainly been in journalism, copywriting, and copy-editing, and I’m keen to leverage my experience in my new role. I’ve spent several years working for an array of publications and I’ve mainly specialised in written content to date. I’ve just wrapped three enjoyable years at The Knot Worldwide and I’ve also written on sport, finance, and tech for various titles.
I love telling people’s stories, so I’m eager to do justice to everyone at Portershed who is innovating, creating, and exploring new possibilities. There’s so much happening here, and I’m really looking forward to delivering our news, sharing everyone’s wins, and boosting profiles.
Undoubtedly, it’s a special time to join the PorterShed’s journey, and I feel fortunate to be part of it all. With two new buildings on the way and plenty of exciting possibilities for 2022, it’s shaping up to be an enjoyable, action-packed year.
Plenty of diligence, perseverance, and passion from so many people over the years has turned this community into what it is today. I’m keen to play my part in continuing those triumphs. Unsurprisingly, a whole host of success stories have been written here, and I can already tell just how important the PorterShed community continues to be to so many – and will be long into the future.
