What does “DevOps happiness” mean to you, and how does Devopness deliver it?
DevOps happiness is about liberating teams from frustrating DevOps bottlenecks, enabling faster and cheaper high-quality software delivery. Many startups and small businesses struggle with too many tools, frequent context switching and high onboarding costs for DevOps engineers, leading to dissatisfaction with release times. Devopness unifies cloud provisioning and app deployment in a single platform, freeing teams from long release cycles.

How do your AI agents transform deployment and infrastructure management?
Devopness fundamentally transforms cloud deployment and infrastructure management by automating those tedious and error-prone DevOps tasks. Gone are the days of waiting for tickets: Devopness agents are available 24/7, instantly setting up and updating infrastructure and applications to their desired state. This empowers developers and non-tech people (“vibe coders”, product managers, etc) to confidently move from code to production with minimal manual effort, transforming what used to take weeks into seamless, automated workflows completed in minutes.
What time or cost savings are you aiming to prove with customers?
Devopness empowers teams to achieve more with fewer resources and less stress, potentially saving over $30k per engineer annually. Our ultimate vision is to shift the industry standard “Software Engineers to DevOps Engineers ratio” from 5:1 to 20:1. We’re also enabling non-technical users (think “vibe coders”, product managers) to host and scale applications on any major cloud provider with just a few prompts.
Essential DevOps tasks, once measured in days or weeks, will now take minutes.
How do you hope to use the Venture Forge workshops and mentors?
As a technical solo founder who has already built a robust product and secured paying customers, I believe Venture Forge will be instrumental to our next phase of growth. Specifically, I’m seeking guidance on optimising our fundraising strategy and accelerating our go-to-market plan. The mentorship and network will be invaluable for connecting with strategic investors and refining our scaling trajectory.
Who are your first target customers, and what feedback have you received?
We initially target ambitious software teams in startups and SMBs with limited (0-2) DevOps engineers, who prioritise rapidly shipping their MVP or continuously improving their products. By ‘ambitious,’ we mean CTOs and engineers who understand that their valuable time spent on costly manual DevOps tasks could instead be used for innovation and accelerated growth. Our traction is strong, with 600 trial users and paying customers across six countries! Users love our simplicity, speed, high-quality customer support, broad tech stack compatibility, and the significantly reduced time to complete their DevOps tasks.
What challenges do you see scaling across different cloud providers?
Scaling across diverse cloud providers presents a fascinating challenge, as each platform has unique APIs and complexities. However, leveraging years of experience, Devopness’s modular architecture was specifically designed for this. Our rigorous end-to-end testing and deep abstraction ensure consistent reliability and top-tier security across AWS, Azure, GCP, and others. This robust design is our core strength, enabling seamless, cloud-agnostic deployments for our users.
