On 9th May, 2025, Europe commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, the foundational moment that paved the way for the European Union. This milestone celebrates decades of peace, cooperation, and shared progress across the continent.​

While major events are planned in Brussels, Strasbourg, and at Expo 2025 in Osaka ​, Galway is marking the occasion with a forward-looking initiative focused on opportunity, collaboration, and impact through EU funding.​
Unlocking EU Funding​ – Success, Pathways and Opportunities:

PorterShed, in partnership with the Galway Culture Company, is hosting a hybrid event titled “EU Funding, Success, Pathways and Opportunities” on Friday, 9th May, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at PorterShed a Dó, 15 Market Street, Galway. This event will explore how EU initiatives support innovation, business growth, and regional development.​

Attendees will benefit from expert panels and inspiring case studies, gaining practical insights into available supports and learning how to tap into European resources to drive meaningful change.
